Ahh kun on ihana paiva vain olla. Siis tietenkin tuon kokeen jalkeen. Mitaan muuta en juuri nyt haluaisi tehda kuin olla ja lohota. Ei ihan kuitenkaan onnistu kun pitaa menna pitamaan seuraa kaverille. Ei muuten valittamista, mutta hanen seurassaan mulle tulee olo etta miuen pitaa valita hanen ja muitten valilta. Seka sekin etta jokin aika sitten tuli puhetta, etta mita tehtaisiin yhdessa, ja nyt ne suunnitelmat on muuttuneet. Aluksi ei pitanyt loytya aikaa ja nyt sitten yhtakkia sita loytyykin. Argh.
Samasta henkilosta viela sen verran, etta han haluaa nyt etta mie kudon hanelle hameen... Vahan sain sellaisen kasityksen, etta miuen pitas hommata kaikki langat siihen ite. Ei siina mitaan, kylla mie mielellani teen pienempia toita. Mutta tuosta tuli vain sellainen mielikuva, etta miulla ei ole muuta vaihoehtoa kuin tehda se.

the Exam
The surprise that I got on Wednesday turned out not to be as bad as I first thought. I could do the exam, if I wanted to, as late as on Monday. The return was in the evening 28th of February. So I could study the whole Friday and Sunday. I did the exam on Sunday because I have another exam on Tuesday and I am going to use Monday and half of the Tuesday to read for that one.
Miuen ei tarvinnu tehakkaan sita koetta perjantaina. Mie voin palauttaa sen kokeen viimeistaan maanantai iltana. Noh miehan tein sen sitten tanaan, sunnuntaina, jota voin lukea maanantaina seuraavaa koetta varten. Se seuraava koe on siis tiistaina. ;)

Kanootilla melon mina
Mentiin eilen Idriksen ja Silken [seka 8 muun immeisen] kanssa kanootilla Black Riveria pitkin 8 mailia eli noin [1.6*8=] 12.8 kilometria. Mie ja Idris [uusi tytto hollannista] oltiin samassa kanootissa ja Silke meni jonkun pojan kanssa samaan kanoottiin. Koska meloja oli vain 9, niin Silken ei tarvinnut meloa alkumatkasta ollenkaan. Yksi kulki kajakilla.
Taytyy kylla sanoa, etta oli hirmusen hauskaa, vaikkakin ensimmainen pysahdys [ruoka-tauko] tuli hieman liian nopeasti minun makuun. Sujuvasti saatiin kuitenkin semmoiset 8 tuntia menemaan. Matkoihin meni siis noin 2 tuntia eli kanootilla seilattiin sitten sellaiset 6 tuntia. Kukaan ei kastunut pahemmin matkalla eika kenenkaan kanootti kaatunut.
Siella siis oli pieni esteita aina rannan tuntumassa ja valilla keskella jokea. Muutamaan polkkyyn tormattiin [siis niihin oikeisiin seka sellaiseen muutamaan jotka seilas meidan edessa ja yritti valilla tormata meihin omalla kanootillaan], mutta mitaan vakavampaa ei kaynyt. Loydettiin rannalta muutes kaarmeen nahkaa seka jonkun liskon tai hiiren luita. :)
Hirmu hauska oli paiva, eika maksanut sen enempaa kuin 10 $. Ensi viikonloppuna olisi vahan pidempi versio tasta lauantaisesta reisussta. Eli oltaisiin ihan yota jossain metikossa. Hintaa ei ole sen enempaa kuin 25 $. Jos seuraa loydan niin sitten menen sinne. Talla hetkella Idris ei viela tieda etta onko hanella koulua vai ei.
I went to canoeing with Silke and Idris [and 8 other persons] this Saturday. It was so much fun. We canoed down the Black River for 8 miles a.k.a 12.8 kilometers. Idris and I were in the same canoe and Silke went with some guy. Because there were only 9 paddles, there was one who didn't need to paddle, that one was Silke. One guy was on kayak.
The first stop came very early to us. We had only come down for 1.5 miles. Anyway, we spent around 8 hours on that trip, from which 2 hours went for transportation. I was sad to see that no-one got too wet nor anyones canoe turned around. We had some log's in the water. They were mostley near the shore but some of them were also in middle of the river. We found some snake skin and reptail bones while we were making one of our stops.
It was verry funny [not sunny] day and it cost only 10$. Next weekend they are going to have another canoeing trip but this time it would be over night trip. It only cost 25$ so I might go if I et someone come with me. So no pressure on Idris ;)

Power yoga
Olen nyt pariin otteeseen kaynyt tata jaloa taitoa harjoittamassa. Taytyy kylla tunnustaa, etta en meinaa ihan itsekkaan uskoa, etta olen noista tunneista lapi paassyt kunnialla. Valilla nimittain tuntuu olevan sen verran hankalampaa hommaa. Eli suosittelen lampimasti kaikille niille, jotka eivat viela tassa vaiheessa tunne kaikkia omia lihaksiaan. Yhden tunnin jalkeen voin luvata, etta ne lihakset muistuttaa olemassa olostaan.
Power yoga. I reccommend this especially to Tosh. Just because I know that she is crazy about sports this is something that after you have done it you won't be thinking anything happy about me. :D

Joulun jalkeen tapahtunutta -- After x-mas
Luzia's parents were here for a week and with them [and of course Luzia and Matthias] I went to Destin. There we ate and went for a delfin cruse. We saw lot of delfins. :)
Before that [before x-mas] we had gone to Destin with Natascha, Kim, Natalie, Luzia, Silke, and Matthias. At that time we walked along the beach.
I went with my roommate Alicia to Pensacola beach the weekend after her arrival [coming back home] and we collected some shells.
Couple weeks after that I went to the beach with Rebecca and collected some more shells. She was also walking in the sea. For me it was just a bit too cold.

Mentiin keskiviikkona myos keilaamaan. Alunperin miuen ei ollu tarkoitus menna, kun miulla oli tunnit niin myohaan. Noh Silke sitten sanoi etta ei hankaan tule ajoissa sinne menemaan, etta mita jos mentaisiin yhdessa. Niin paatettiin sitten tehda.
Tunnin lopussa juttelin Shiphengin kanssa ja kuulin, etta hankin on menossa keilailemaan. Mentiin sitten yhdessa Silken luo, joka oli miuta odottamassa Commons:lla. Siina sitten juteltiin, kun kaveltiin autolle, ja tajuttiin etta Luzia on odottamassa toisaalla Shiphengia. Ensimmaiseksi soitettiin heille kotia, josko he vaikka olisivat viela siella. Markus kertoi, etta he lahtivat jo kymmenisen minuuttia aikaisemmin hakemaan Shi:ta. Noh me sitten mentiin kertomaan Luzialle, etta me ollaan kaikki Silken autossa.
Tietsikka labran edessa oli tuttu auto ja me ajettiin siihen viereen. Siella oli Matthias odottamassa. Han lahti hakemaan Luziaa ja me menimme hakemaan Kaylan [Silken kamppiksen]. Sielta menimme sitten Fountais:lle, koska Luzia ja Matthias asuu siella. Saavuimme suunnilleen samaan aikaan Luzian ja Matthiaksen kanssa sinne. Luzia meni suoraan sisalle eika sanonut edes 'hei'ta meilla. Matthias alkaa huutamaan Silke, siita etta meilla oli Shipheng emmeka ilmoittaneet heille asiasta. Syytti Silkea koko tapahtumasta, vaikka hanella nyt tassa oli vahiten syyta.
Silke yrittaa sitten vahan ajan paasta menna juttelemaan porukoille, mie ja Kayla pysytaan autossa. Kohta Silke palaa autolle itkien. Tieda sitten mita siella tuli sanottua, mutta jotenkin tuntuu, etta mitaan kovin mielta ylentavaa se ei ollut. Luzia ja Fabian yrittavat rauhoitella Silkea, mutta eivat ihan kunnolla onnistu. Shiphengin tultua autoon sisalle me laksimme kohti keilahallia.

We tried to contact them and then went to computer lab where we saw Matthias. Then we went and picked up Kayla and went to the Fountains. There happened some yelling and talking and in the end some crying. So you can think what kind of a night we had from there on.
I don't know whether it bothers me because I was involved with the incident or because I haven't seen them behaving like this.
I have to say also that I can understand in a way what they were going through. Waiting and waiting and than someone comes and says that ou we have her. But instead of yelling to someone I would have behaved differently. Allthough they say that if you express your feelings you live longer.

Wednesday
I got an email that says: 'This email is to remind/inform of the unanimous decision rendered during Monday evening's Marketing 4991 class. Therein it was determined that our scheduled midterm exam will be conducted via email. I will email the exam to you via Groupmail (as I am now mailing this note) Friday, Feb. 25th. Specifics on how to take the test were discussed Monday evening, and will be repeated on the exam. Essentially, the test is to be closed-book and closed-notes. Study, then take the test -- just as if you were doing so in class. You will have until Monday night to Reply email your responses back to me. Of course, we will not be holding class Monday night, and our next time together will be the following Monday, March 7. We will go over the midterm exam results, as well as the assigned syllabus chapter, at that time.So, look for an email from me in the next couple of days with attached midterm exam. If questions, email me soonest.'
Not very nice surprise. So this means that I do not have the weekend to read whilst I have the exam already on Friday.
Than I heard that on my last exam on Sales management I did as good as 68 %. It means that I got a D. Serves me right because I didn't read too much. But good news are that if I'll do well in the two other exams, my score in the first exam will rise.
Than we went to bowling... more about that after my class.

Orlando
Last week-end I went to Orlando with Luzia and her friends Manu, Betty, and Sylvia. We left from Pensacola on Sunday midday [1 p.m.] and drove to Orlando and spent the night just half an hour away from Universal theme park. Early in the morning [7.30] we woke up or well some of us did because other of us didn't sleep. :D As you can see there were five of us in the trip. We only took one room to sleep in so there were 5 people sleeping in 2 beds...
We went to Universal studios -theme park and spent there almost the whole day [Monday]. We did almost everything that there was to do. Twister, MIB, Back to the future, T2 -3d, Shrek, E.T., Earthquake, and so on. It was very warm day, the temperature was almost in 30 C. Then in the evening around 5 or 6 or something we left back to Pensacola. Of course we got jammed in the traffic and we had to find our way out to the right road before we could start our journey back. Luzia drove all the way to Tallahasse were we spent the second night.
In Tuesday morning we arrived back to Pensacola and continued straight to the classes that we had that day.

Vaikka matkalla puhuttiin enimmakseen saksaa, ei se miuta haitannu. Lahto siis tapahtui sunnuntaina 45 minuutin varo ajalla, ja perille saavuimme illalla. Yon vietimme siskonpedissa, yhdistaen kaksi petia jotta kaikki 5 mahduttaisiin nukkumaan. Noh mie en nyt ensimmaisena yona saanu unta ollenkaan, mutta se ei menoa haitannu.
Maanantai paiva vietettiin kokonaan sitten siella Universaalilla. Kokeiltiin melkein kaikki maholliset paikat mita siella oli kokeiltavana. Twister, MIB, Back to the future, T2 -3d, Shrek, E.T., Earthquake ja niin edelleen. Lampo oli koko paivan noin 30:ssa. Takasin lahdettiin noin viiden-kuuden aikoja, mika on sitten se pahin ruuhka-aika. Tietenkin me sitten jaatiin kiinni siihen ruuhkaan ja ohitettiin se liittyma minne meidan olisi pitanyt menna. Pienen kiertoajelun jalkeen sitte paastin takasin oikealle reitille. Luzia ajoi sitten Tallahasseen asti, jossa sitten vietimme toisen yon.
Tiistai aamuna palasimme takasin sopivasti seuraavalle tunnille.

Silken synttari juhlat
Silke juhli synttareitaan viime perjantaina. Taytyy myontaa, etta ei ollu puutetta ruuista taikka juomista. Noh oli meita juhlijoitakin sen verran, etta oli ihan hyva, etta loytyi tarpeeksi syotavaa. Paikalla oli siis paljon vanhoja tuttuja ja muutama uusi. Silke sai synttarilahjaksi kamppikseltaan pienen kilpikonnan, jonka nimi on Speedy [tai Roberto jos kysytaan pojilta].
Last friday Silke had her b-day party. We had lot [really a lot] of food and lot of people partying. She got a turtle as a present from her roommate. His name is either Speedy or Roberto. It's Roberto if you ask from the guys. :D
