Why does the music from home sound so much better, when you are miles and miles away home? I have never really loved the finnish music. A few good songs that I like and that has been it. I noticed this in Florida too. My friends sent me some finnish music (christmas karaoke as one...) and I noticed listening to the music everyday.
Also I noticed that I liked it very much. I was able to find the Rasmus from a local store in Florida and I actually bought it... It wasn't my favourite one as they sang in english, but it was a finnish band. That was enough for me. Still today if I hear some of the music that I listened to I get a bit nostalgic.
Now I have been listening to a cd that I got from my friend as a parting gift. I really have to say that the finnish music is very very good. I will probably change my mind when I visit Finland in six months, but hey I can't help it :)

More about how I look now
Last time my friends in Florida (or lets say in 2005) saw me, I had long, long blond hair and glasses. I still do have glasses but I have also started to use contacts. I like them a lot as they have made my life a lot easier. It is nice to see where I am swimming ;)
The biggest change that I have had was when I couple of years back cut my hair very short (to the ear level) and coloured my hair black. Well at first it was kind of lilac. But it was to be expected. I was just glad my hair didn't turn green, even though I have had green hair when I was in high school...
I really liked my gothic look. Probably would have keeped it, if I weren't moving here. Also most of my relatives said I shouldn't do it but I had even my granny to say that it looked better that way. I mean after a while they forgot that I had coloured my hair :))
So now I still have short hair. Tips are black, middle is blond and roots are natural. Most of my head is natural I think, but am not sure. Don't have eyes outside my head you see... Well I have heard of mirrors, and know how they work, but still don't trust them.

Finally I have moved!
Like I once told you I was planning on moving. Well the day has now come and gone. I lived with my sister almost six months, which was a bit more longer than I had planned. One good think that came out of staying with my sister was that I was able to pay back some of my student loan. Almost three thousand to be exact.
Now I have moved to live with my aunt. My home is in Grenada at the moment. It hasn't sinked in yet, but maybe in couple of days it will. Oh, didn't I tell you that I have been here less than a week now. :)) A bit jet laged and worn by the heath, but otherwise feeling good.
To some of you it might sound wierd that I have lived with my sister and am now living with my aunt's family. Well to tell the truth it does feel a bit wierd to me too. But I see it as an opportunity. There is now way I would be here now, if it was all up to me. Honestly I don't even know how long I am going to stay here. I am still looking for my place in life.
Oh, and I promise to start writing more for you to read. :) Honestly, scout's honor, hope to ... well not really hoping for that, but you get my drift. ;)
